Okay everyone I just want to touch base on this one. Yes our simm has moved from 86 to 38, but that does not mean that we have to operate in 38. For the time being we will be working with 86's storyline. Though in the near future, we will be moving toward 38. We will not be placed inside the Delta quadrant but will be placed outside one of the gateways when we are ready. Lets take our time and move forward. There is plenty of stuff to work on before we change a lot of that over. In fact my one and only flag officer character Andrea had to be downgraded to Commodore and I want to explain it.

I don't know where to start. I suppose we have a few things to cover here in regards to news. As I had let you all know about the drama in the fleet. Because of that drama, we had no choice but to move taskforces. 86 was closed which meant we were sent to 38 which is in the Delta quadrant. Some changes like no TGCO was initiated. As you all may or may not know that is what I had held in 86. It was a nice position and I like helping COs under me.

I was not expecting this, but was nice being offered this position. I was named the XO of 38 yesterday. That means I will be helping Matt run 38. I take it as an honor and do what I can to better the taskforce. This is also means that we need to be held to a high standard. I always believed in us running quality over quantity so that does not change who we are. We should all be working toward that goal anyways.

We also have a new addition to Starbase Majestic Lieutenant Adrian Jeffries-Maloy. He will be our new Chief Tactical Officer. Please everyone please make him feel welcome here.

Just because we changed taskforces does not mean we have to change our storyline any time soon. We will work toward that as 38 has a lot we can work with.

» New Year, New Direction to Starbase Majestic

Now that it's a new year here, it is time we get back to action. I hope everyone has enjoyed their holidays. With, the new year, there will be some changes to this simm. In the past, I have always valued quality over quantity and I still believe in that and I hope we can do that this year. I know a lot of us are learning to work together as not everyone has been posting with each other in the past and have different writing styles.

Real life comes first, but I really want to push everyone to post once a week regardless of position. Even if you have a junior officer position, you should still be able to post once a week. I know we can't always make it for many reasons and that I understand. If you are stuck on what to post, ask. Remember, you can always start a JP with any member of the crew. NPCs are encouraged. Please talk to me or my XO if you are interested in creating a civilian NPC. If you want to create an NPC that is not in your department, please talk to the department head and then my XO and I about it. Now that we are back to being active now, I will be trying my best to post twice a week.

In addition, we lost Cain and I am sure I did not get around to mentioning that we received Chief Warrant Officer Mara Hamilton who will be taking up the position as Reconnaissance Scout / Sniper which obviously is under the Marine Department. I would like to officially welcome you to Starbase Majestic.

In addition, if anyone has any mission suggestion or ideas, feel free to suggest them. Don't be afraid to post. Feel free to experiment and try new things with your characters. You don't have to wait for my XO or myself to lead you, but we will be here to help you if you are stuck on an idea. If anyone knows anyone who would be interested in this simm, please don't hesitate to send them this direction, but please tell them to make sure they write the best possible application as we do look through them and if poorly done, it will get declined.
