Physical Description		Her mothers Romulan genes dominated the mating of her parents in all facets of her physical appearance except hair and eye color, the sandy blonde hair and hazel eyes came from her father, other than that, Selene is a carbon copy of most Vulcan females. She has inherited the Vulcan/Rihannsu organic structure, green blood, internal organ placement, as well as the superior strength and agility of her mothers’ species.

Personality & Traits

General Overview		While Selene might look other Vulcan/Rihannsu women, the logic so prevalent in the Vulcan species has escaped her. Of course being raised by a Rihannsu Mother, that hated the idea of Unification, might be a major factor in her assessment of Vulcan logic. Her Rihannsu mother has also installed the idea, "Vulcans are the failure of their combined heritage. The weaker of the two races." Selene doesn't dislike Vulcans nor does she get offended by being mistaken for one. She is of the attitude they (Vulcans) serve a purpose, she just hadn't figure out what that purpose is. Most of her executive officers have described her as "RUDE". Not insubordinate, just plain rude. She was one of the most liked pilots in each squadron she has been assigned, the XO's of the duty station's have much different observations.
Strengths & Weaknesses		Her Pro and Con reports all reflect the same information. Starting with the Academy, one will see the following, "Probably the most skilled, natural pilot every to be stationed here" "Command ability, but refuses to accept the position" That's the pro's, the Cons go into greater detail. "Failure to apply her full potential except in situations which she deems it necessary" "Rude to the point of bordering on insubordination" So while her greatest strength is her piloting ability her greatest weakness is her inability to commit herself to advancing within the ranks.

History

Personal History		Born on the Mars Defense Station to parents of mixed species, Human/Romulan. Her mother was the proprietor of an exotic clothing establishment specializing in outfits from the Beta Quadrant. This included not only casual, formal and sports apparel, but the more risky intimate apparel for females of species in that quadrant. Her father was a Federation Marine. While the union was frowned upon by Starfleet it was allowed. As with most military children she was predominately raised by her Mother as her father was reassigned frequently and her mother refused to move the Boutique. It was during the formative years that Selene was installed with the Rihannsu work ethic and determination. As with most children of her mothers race she lagged behind the human children in size and stature till she got into adolescence. Several of the more predominant bullies of her younger years found out just what the term "superior strength and agility" meant during her early teens. The name Elf ears, Vulcan want to be, green skin slowly faded from the lips of her peers. Not due to the traits disappearing, but broken noses and black eyes convinced most teens that those where not suitable descriptions of the young woman. Against her mothers wishes her father used his ranking as a Sgt Major to get his daughter an appointment to the Academy. While not overjoyed at the prospect, Selene applied herself at what she was good at, flying and graduated third in her class. She and her Father had a argument during her final year when he read the assessment of her abilities by her flight instructors. Discovering she was capable of graduating with the top honors in piloting but chose not to apply herself to the task. It has always been rumored, not only on the Mars station but within Starfleet, that her mother is and has always been a Tal Shi'ar agent. Although Starfleet has never issued any warrants, several investigations of her mother have been conducted over the years.
