Mission: Dangerous Waters (The Aftermath)
Location: Sickbay

Both Amber and Deanna found their way to sickbay where AJ was sitting in her office. Amber knocked at the doorway to get AJ’s attention.

AJ just returned from the marine barracks and was checking some private messages. Most were from friends and family that were sending some condolences to her over her father, after about the third one she just shut the monitor down and leaned back for a moment to collect herself. No matter how much she tried to ignore it or play it off it always seemed to come to her attention once again. Hearing the knock on her office door frame she opened her eyes and lifted her head toward the entrance to her office. Seeing whom she thought Alex there and someone else she furrowed her brow slightly seeing the woman in a teal uniform. "Alex, think you drunk or I need a eye examination." She said. "You're color is all wrong." AJ said.

Deanna played along with this one and sat on AJ's desk and put a smile on her face. "You need an eye exam," said Deanna. Deanna then winked at AJ.

"Alex today is not the day for you to flirt with me... besides, think Jon would have something to say about you winking at his girlfriend." AJ said and grinned slightly, it was the first time she done so since she got the news about her father.

Deanna started laughing. "Dr. I hate to break this to you, but I am not Alexandria King."

AJ turned her head and looked at the woman closely, then stood up and eyed 'Alex' closer. "I think you need to see a shrink, cause I'm about to add you to the list of crew that has been removed from active duty." AJ said then grinned.

Deanna starting laughing hysterically. "Doctor. I am not Alex King, but Deanna King, Alex's twin sister. If you don't believe me, ask the computer as to the location of Alex King," Deanna said.

"Sister?" She said and then remembered Alex saying she had a twin. "Well butter my butt and call me a biscuit." AJ said and then extended her hand. "Dr. Ariana Kalyn." She said then smiled.

Deanna shook AJ's hand. "And we know that I am Commander King's twin Sister. "Lieutenant Deana King; Chief Counselor and your Assistant Chief Medical Officer."

Shaking the woman's hand AJ nodded. "Alex said I would be getting a new assistant, didn't realize it was so soon." She said. "Welcome to the Horizon, and to Sickbay." The blond Chief Medical Officer said as she looked at Deanna. "God knows this ship could use another good counselor."

Deanna smiled. "Yep. I'm it. Be ready for the unexpected," Deanna winked again. She was going to have fun with this assignment especially since her twin was in command. Nobody knew how much fun she was compared to Alex. Deanna was the fun one who was the life of the party.

"I can handle unexpected, it's the calm and mundane that drive me up the wall." AJ said as she smiled and picked her racktajeno mug up off the desk and took a sip. "How is it we got lucky to get you and Alex on one ship?" AJ asked.

"Don't know," said Deanna. "We may look alike, but you will see the differences soon enough. The two of us together may give you an headache. Besides I more fun than my sisters. I am the one whom gave her a puppy."

"Oh!" AJ said then laughed about it. "You're that sister." She said then grinned. "Promise me when you work on her, give me the heads up cause I want to get some popcorn and watch you work." AJ stated and grinned.

Deanna was laughing. "So not that we are not fully acquainted here, do we have anything going on here that I need to be aware of," Deanna asked.

Amber was watching as Deanna and the doctor talking while she was waited patiently.

"The only thing going on at the moment is there might be a problem with the holodecks. Lt. Park was hurt when somehow or another the safety protacols disengaged and he was attacked by a lion. Rav is looking into it, so just be ready for anything. I've sent a reccomendation to Alex to restrict holodeck use until the situation can be resolved." AJ said then looked over at Amber. "Sorry, Dr. Ariana Kalyn.." she said introducing herself to the other lady and offering her hand.

"Its quite aright," said Amber. "Having twins around can be fun at times. I'm actually a twin myself."

AJ smiled. "There has to be something in the water or air, seems like there are lot of twins on the the ship." She said giving a grin. "How long are you going to be on the ship, Amber?" AJ asked as she finally sat back down and gestured to a pair of chairs for Deanna and Amber to sit down in.

"A couple days," said Amber. "The captain said something about seeing if I can help you until we make it to starbase 611. That is where my assignment is going to be."

Nodding Aj crossed her legs. "I'm sure there is something you can do to fill your time up while you're here on the Horizon." AJ replied. "There is always something needing done here in sickbay especially."

"Yeah," said Amber.

Ariana then turned to Deanna. "since you're here, will give me a few to take care of some personal matters with my family. Glad you're here actually."

"Sure," said Deanna. "If you need anything, I will be in my office." Deanna then went and left and Amber went to see what she could do around sickbay.
