Mission: Dangerous Waters (The Aftermath)
Location: Captain's Ready Room

As soon as Alex was done with AJ and Jon, she decided to contact her sister Rachael to see how Alex was doing. Being a captain was hecktic at times. She was getting torn every which way at times.

“Hi Rachael,” said Alex as soon as her console showed her sister on the screen.

“Hey sis,” said Rachael.

“How is Alex doing?”

“Well… The doctor released her today.”

“Well that is good to hear.”

“Yeah it is,” said Rachael. “But still she needs to take it easy. Sis, she has a long road to go down. She’s not the same Alex we all have known growing up. I mean she is still Alex, but there is a lot of work she has to do for herself. Right now, walking is not her strong point, but in time she will get better if she works hard enough. “

“At least she is okay though,” said Alex.

“Yeah, but the doctor here didn’t fully want to release her. Right now she is on light duty. I think he wanted to relieve her, but he knew she would go stir crazy otherwise.”

“You, me both Rach,” said Alex. “Anyways, I wanted to check to see how she was. We are heading to the gorn/tholian space so wish me luck.”

“Be safe,” said Rachael.
